“With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is the perfect time for White Bay 6 Marine Park to raise awareness about breast cancer throughout the marine sector. This year alone an estimated 17586 women will be diagnosed with the disease and they need our support. Without the support of the amazing women that play a very crucial role throughout boating sector, the industry would not be what it is today. This month we are changing our name to Pink Bay 6 Marine Park whilst trying to raise as much money as we can for the McGrath Foundation to assist in placing specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed, and make breast health understanding a priority”. Jeremy Rose, GM, Pink (White) Bay 6 Marine Park
“Every breast cancer experience is different. That’s why the McGrath Foundation aims to make life that little bit easier for individuals and families experiencing breast cancer. We raise money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed, and make breast health understanding a priority”. Jane McGrath – Co-Founder McGrath Foundation.
